This page explains the browser storage, analytics and advertising technologies that may operate on JetAssistance, and how they are managed for visitors in different countries.
1. Technologies used on the website
Essential functions: Administrator sessions use an HTTP-only security cookie, and your visual theme preference may be stored locally. These functions support the website's basic operation and appearance.
Analytics: When our GA4 account is connected, a Google tag may load to measure page views, engagement and technical performance. Its storage and measurement behavior depends on regional consent signals and applicable settings.
Advertising: When enabled, Google AdSense Auto ads uses its own script to place advertisements on eligible travel-information pages. These advertisements are excluded from the six legal and policy pages.
2. How regional choices work
For visitors in the European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland, Google consent signals begin in a restricted state until the appropriate choices are communicated by the consent management system. Where required, Google's certified consent message offers choices before permission-based storage and personalised ads are activated. In other regions, Google services may begin automatically, subject to local laws, browser settings and available privacy controls.
JetAssistance does not run a second home-made cookie popup on top of the advertising provider's own consent experience. The advertiser's decision panel appears only where configured and applicable.
3. Manage or withdraw your choice
Use the Privacy choices button in the website footer. Where Google Privacy & messaging has made the consent interface available, this opens the provider's choice screen so you can change or withdraw your consent. If that service is not available for your visit, you can manage cookie permissions in your browser settings and review Google My Ad Center.
4. Browser controls
You can erase cookies and local storage through your browser, disable third-party cookies, or enable Global Privacy Control where supported. These settings may affect third-party recommendations, measurement and advertising behavior. Private browsing may not retain appearance preferences between visits.
5. Who sets the cookies?
Some technologies are set by JetAssistance or our hosting provider; others, when enabled, are provided by Google and independent linked services. For Google's current technologies see Google's cookie information. We do not control cookies or data collection on third-party sites you leave JetAssistance to visit.
6. Changes and contact
We review this policy when our technology or suppliers change. Please contact JetAssistance if you have a question about our use of cookies or the advertising settings.
We aim to explain how the site operates in plain language.
